Panic Attacks Can Be Very Dangerous!
Panic attacks can come to you as quick as a rainfall. When it comes to you, you will be in extreme fear and this can be startling and dangerous if you are driving or working when it happens. You may feel cold and dull and nothing will come to your mind but fear, panic, confusion and more fear. I myself experienced a panic attack before and I am willing to share with you my experience. One day, I was driving my car on a highway. And as I began to gain speed on the interstate, I began to feel a panic attack coming on. My hands began to sweat on the wheel and my grip was loosened. As my chest began pounding it was time for me to change lanes and I was frightened and had to swerve to miss a car. I was almost killed and I didn't even know it as I was in the midst of a panic attack.
Luckily I was alright. However, my car was crushed so badly that it had to be towed by a truck. The accident happened in a split of a second. I didn't even know that there was an accident because I was going through a panic attack. My whole body was shaking in fear and my sweaty hands wouldn't come off the steering wheel. There was someone sitting next to me and that person was my friend. My friend said he tried to talk me out of it for minutes before he had my full attention back. When I talked about the accident with my friend, he said that I was shaking like I had just seen a ghost or something. To tell you the truth, I don't even remember the accident. All I remember is the sound of a big boom and I just recall a moment of silence. This is the reason why it can be very important to seek treatment for panic attacks. If one comes upon you in a moment where you need your undivided attention elsewhere there could be dire consequences.
